Learn How to Give

All of us have the potential to impact a person, a cause, and a community.

Will you be the difference?

Whether you want to make a one-time donation or establish a continuous charitable contribution, turning your passion into action will make a positive impact on those most in need.

Cash

To potentially qualify for maximum allowable income tax deductions, a check or credit card is the easiest way to contribute to a fund or nonprofit.

Real Estate

Properties that are mortgage-free can be gifted at their fair market value. This is determined by a qualified appraisal, which enables donors to receive a charitable deduction and also avoid capital gains taxes.

In-Kind

In-kind donations gifted by the donor may enable them to deduct the full fair market value as a charitable contribution in certain situations. In-kind donations typically fall into 3 categories:

  1. Direct payment by a donor of bill owed by the charity to a third party.
  2. Donations of goods (tangible and intangible).
  3. Donations of services.
