About Us
What We Do
We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can raise a child and create a better future for them.
We provide services to our youth in the local area by offering summer internships for male scholars aged 14 to 19. These internships consist of development in the areas of athletics, education, college readiness, and workforce development. We represent a network of industries that serve our communities in the areas of education, revitalization, social justice, workforce development, health wellness, and nutrition.
We started with only a handful of middle and high school students and now we are anticipating almost 60 in 2024. We collaborate with our local schools, businesses and other nonprofit organizations so that no scholar is turned away.
Who We Do It For
Our program participants and parents make us who we are. We live to serve our youth mentally, physically, and spiritually.
We strive to make a meaningful impact in the heart of small and many low-income communities. We know that there is power in community and unity. We exist to help local youth who may not have access to the needed financial help and resources such as tutors, mentors, physical education, and spiritual guidance.
Now in our 3rd year, it’s a blessing to have graduated scholars who come back each and every summer to pour back into our program’s new participants every year. We are truly blessed and honored to welcome them back.
