The Athletes of Life Program focuses on the student and the athlete physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually.

Athletes of Life:
Taking disciplines learned from sports and applying them to the game of life.
The key is to provide our youth with the tools necessary to adapt, lead, and advocate for the environment they go back to after the program.
As a community-wide campaign founded on collaboration and partnership, Athletes of Life has empowered community leaders, individuals, and families in Edgecombe County to support disadvantaged youth. This support, in turn, provides AOL interns the opportunity to dream, to believe in themselves, and to persevere.
Tarboro is ranked among North Carolina’s less affluent communities. Here, hundreds of hard-working families are one paycheck away from the threat of homelessness. Our community’s most vulnerable are struggling to simply survive and provide for their families. To break this vicious cycle, we believe the key is to provide our youth with the tools necessary to adapt, lead, and advocate for the environment they go back to after the program.
Build A Suit, We Out Friday's, Work for Experience Paid Internships, and Serve Sundays
Edgecombe County’s underprivileged children do not have access to required financial help and resources needed to live the life of their dreams. We, at Meaningful Industries Collaboration Corporation help our youth, not only educationally, but physically, mentally, financially, and spiritually.
Through our supplemental programs such as Build A Suit, We Out Friday’s, Work for Experience Paid Internships, and Serve Sundays, our youth not only find their voice, but they learn to succeed in life and turn their dreams into reality.
