Our Supplemental Programs

Just one substantial donation can make an immediate impact in our community.

Work For Experience Paid Internships

We offer paid internships for work experience to all youth who participate in our summer program. We team up with local businesses to provide each student the opportunity to learn, grow, and earn income over the summer.

We speak with each student individually to find out which industry peaks their interest and what skill sets they already have, then we match them with a local business based on that criteria.

Paid internships are a great way for program participants to get experience, gain new skills, and learn more about different jobs and career fields. Our goal is to set every student up for success.

We Out Fridays

We Out Fridays was coined by the President of the organization, Saiid Murphy. We Out Fridays provides students with the opportunity to visit colleges all over North Carolina. Students visit HBCUs, private, and public colleges every Friday. With this opportunity comes experience and a vision that the world is bigger than the town they live in.

Students also get to meet and greet college coaches and learn more about sports programs available to them. The students get to experience the day in the life of a college student by participating in activities such as dining in at the college’s cafeteria, and walking around the campus.

Serve Sundays

Serve Sundays provides program participants to not only learn about God, but enables them to serve others in need. It teaches them what community is all about.

It provides a foundation of trust, faith, and love for all people. We encourage our program participants to be servant hearted and service minded. They learn that serving alongside people from their community is the best way to connect with them.

Every Sunday we visit a different church in our community to pray with and provide service to their parishioners.
